Why CHP?
In Cedar Hill Prep’s Elementary School, students transition from early foundational skills into an engaging, inquiry-based curriculum rooted in the International Baccalaureate(IB) framework. Designed to cultivate critical thinking and international-mindedness, the program challenges students to connect classroom concepts to real-world issues.
Through collaborative projects, advanced STEM coursework, and vibrant arts and language exposure, young learners build academic resilience, leadership skills, and the confidence to navigate an interconnected world.
Our Faculty
Our teachers are constantly improving and are abreast with the latest developments in the field. Our elementary school teachers focus on setting strong foundations for reading and math skills.
Our Curriculum
CHP is proud to announce that we are a candidate for the IB program. IB World Schools share a common philosophy—a commitment to high-quality, challenging, international education that we believe is important for our students. We give direct explicit instruction to promote phonics, spelling, vocabulary, reading instruction, and comprehension skills.
We follow Singapore Math, one of the most sought-after, challenging Math curricula in schools.
The Social Studies curriculum involves engaging lessons that combine interactive activities, historical knowledge, geography, and language arts. At CHP, we aim to create a nurturing and fulfilling learning environment that encourages children to explore, play, and be creative.
The CHP curriculum is crafted to inspire elementary students to think critically and develop a sense of leadership and responsibility, getting them prepared for the challenges of Middle School.

Multicultural Learning
CHP recognizes the importance of including cultural differences in all aspects of learning. Diversity means much more than racial and ethnic differences. We explore the benefits of diversity and work together to build an ethnically inclusive community in celebration of those differences.
Physical Education
At CHP, the Physical Education program aims to promote the relationship between a healthy body and mind. By incorporating the fundamental principles of physical fitness, including muscular strength, endurance, flexibility, and cardiovascular development, we encourage students to develop a positive outlook toward healthy living. Our Physical Education classes include fitness activities that are integrated into the curriculum throughout the school year.

Experiential Learning
A nine-acre school campus makes learning dynamic and continuous for our children. The natural surroundings, playgrounds and free space make spontaneous learning part of their daily experience as they stroll around our campus.
The children interact with nature all around them in the context of a variety of classes, from science to art, turning the grounds of the campus itself into a schoolwide classroom.
